This lavish and well-illustrated monograph traces the life and career of the late great Italian couturier (1932-2026). It includes hundreds of photographs of his designs, most in color, and worn by models and Valentino devotees (such as Elizabeth Taylor and Jacqueline Onassis). The section at the end, in full color, displays six of his fashion sketches per year, spanning from 1961 to 1990.
