Cuisine: Trader Vic's pioneered a fusion of multi-ethnic cuisines, including Chinese and Asian influences, often prepared in large wood-fired ovens.
Cocktails: The brand is world-famous for its tropical cocktails. In 1944, Victor Bergeron created the Mai Tai, a drink he served to friends who exclaimed it was "Mai Tai Roa Ae!"Tahitian for "the bestout of this world!".
