How to remove backing:
If you unravel the Tenacious Tape, you may notice that one end has about a quarter inch of the top-side of the blue backing showing (it should appear as white). It is easiest to remove the tape from that end as you should be able to get a fingernail in between the tape and the backing. If that is not an option, try flicking your thumb in an upward motion on the side of the tape, which typically helps lift the tape from the backing. Last, you can also try tearing a small corner.

Storage & care:
Place unused portion in container or bag and store in cool, dry place.

Instructions:

1. Clean and dry area to be repaired
2. Trim loose threads
3. Join torn edges of material.
4. For smaller repairs, cut tape for appropriate size, allowing overlap of repair of at least 25mm in all directions.
5. Round the edges of tape for best adhesion.
6. Remove paper backing and apply to damaged area over hard, flat surface.
7. May be applied to outside surface or inside surface depending upon cosmetic preference, or both sides for the highest performance repair.
8. After applying, rub with pressure using circular motion from center out. Item may be used immediately. Adhesive reaches full strength in 24 hours.

If more permanent repairs are desired. Tenacious Tape can be used with Seam Grip or Aquaseal Urethane Adhesives. If used in this manner, follow adhesive application instructions and overlap the adhesive with Tenacious Tape by at least 25 mm.

Once adhesive is fully cured, the tape may be removed if desired.
